Language Development for Teachers
This course is primarily intended for non-native teachers of English who wish to increase their language awareness and language teaching skills. However, it will also be of great value to teachers of other subjects, who have to teach their subjects through English as well as native speakers of English who are unfamiliar with the mechanics of the language.

- Dealing with multi-word verbs, metaphor & idiomatic language
- Dealing with errors & correcting learners’ written & spoken language
- Improving learners' pronunciation skills
- Designing engaging communicative practice activities
- Using storytelling in the classroom
- Using language to manage the classroom more effectively
- Designing motivating communicative practice activities to help learners use language more effectively.
