Terms and Conditions
Thank you for your interest in Use Your Edge. We are delighted that you want to contract one of our services or join one of our training events and we are confident you will find it a very rewarding experience.
Bookings can be made on line, via the downloadable booking form on our website or by telephone.
The training fees include tuition, course materials, certification fees (where otherwise not make explicit) and some refreshments at break times. Please note that accommodation and meals are not included.
Acceptance on one of our open trainings is not automatic and is at our sole discretion. You will be asked to complete an application form and on receipt of the form we will get back to you to arrange an interview either face to face, by phone or by Skype. The interview, which should take no longer than thirty minutes, will also give you an opportunity to ask any questions and clear up any doubts regarding the training. Therefore all bookings undergo an application process and payment in part or full does not automatically guarantee acceptance on a training or seminar. Nonetheless, we apply the acceptance criteria in a clear, fair and transparent manner. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse access to the training for the safety and comfort of other participants, or for any reason whatsoever.
After successful application, our pre-course material (which will include some short tasks to help you prepare for the training) will be emailed to you & access to our online campus at www.nlpcoachingcourses.com is provided. You will find this a very useful investment of your time in preparation for your training.
Training with Use Your Edge does not constitute certification or licensure in psychotherapy, hypnotherapy or counselling and will not claim so. If you are currently suffering for any medical condition or taking any medical medications, it is a requirement that you let us know and provide us with details.
By signing and completing the booking form or making a payment for a course you are informing us that you are of sound mental and physical condition and you accept that the training is not a substitute for proper medical or psychological treatment and agree to undertake this course for educational purposes only.
Your booking is secured once payment is received, unless payment terms are agreed in advance. Early bird payments must be paid in full by the stipulated date and all other payments must be made in full 30 days in advance of the course start date. VAT (where applicable) is charged at the current rate at the time of the booking. You will be sent a booking confirmation by email on receipt of your payment. Joining instructions and details of the event will be sent out prior to the event and includes details of the location, start times and other relevant information.
In the unlikely event that the training is cancelled for whatever reason, your fees will be refunded in full. We reserve the right to make substitutions at our discretion should the trainer be unable to conduct the training or part of it. Use Your Edge accepts no liability or responsibility for any other expenses incurred by participants. Use Your Edge reserves the right to change dates and venues due to conditions outside our control.
Requests to transfer to an alternative course are considered on an individual basis and will be subject to a small administration charge. If a participant fails to attend a training without contacting us beforehand, no refunds will be made.
Cancellation of a booking is subject to the following charges:
- Up to 90 days prior to the course – No charge
- Up to 30 days prior to the course – 10% administration charge
- After 30 days – no refunds are normally allowed but we treat each case individually.
- Transfers to an alternative programme are considered but we cannot make any guarantees that it will always be possible.
Any License agreements and video release forms must be signed before entry to the programme. There is no electronic recording of any kind allowed during the seminars and trainings.
