NLP is the study of how we think, communicate and behave and of how the most successful people get their best results. It is an educational model designed to enable people to re-educate themselves to ‘think on purpose’ and act more effectively in order for them to get the best possible outcome.

NLP offers the unique opportunity for teachers, trainers and educators to learn new ways of inspiring and engaging learners. With an increased awareness and a wealth of effective strategies, teachers can become more skilful in creating positive environments and designing, planning and developing successful long-term learning.

This 100 hour teacher development will cover the core concepts of NLP and their applications in teaching. Not only is it a course designed for teachers to improve their teaching skills, more importantly it helps teachers to improve their learners’ learning and behaviour both inside and outside the classroom.

As a result of the training, you will feel happier in your job with a greater sense of satisfaction and self-esteem. You will feel more successful knowing that you are really helping your learners to achieve their goals and objectives. You will feel more free as you learn to successfully cope with the stress and demands of life both inside and outside the classroom.

Methodology

The sessions will be in a workshop format, highly participative, interactive and fun. Participants will meet a wide variety of ideas, concepts and activities of immediate classroom application that will support, build on and further develop their current classroom experience. Throughout the course, they will have the opportunity to prepare a motivating action plan that will help them implement what they will have learned long after the training has finished.

Continuing Learning, Exploration & Discovery Outside the Training Sessions

Participants will also be asked to do a number of tasks during the course to account for the extra non-classroom hours that the course consists of, as well as a final mini project which will need to be handed in on the assigned date.
